Creating the Estate

This project is located in the hills of Villa Park. It’s an older property that suffers from disconnected projects and no overall concept of how to tie the existing elements together. In this project the pool becomes the organizing element for a new guest house, outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining areas, and recreation elements. The addition of cascading tiers stratifies the elements into three distinct zones; the main living level, guest & entertaining level, and a recreation level.
